Answer:

a = 2m/s²

s = 10m

v = 18m/s

u = ?

v²-u²=2as

u² = v²-2as

u² = 324-2×2×10

u² = 284

u = 16.8 m/s

Given:-

Acceleration(a)=2m/s²

Distance(s)=10m

Final velocity(v)=18m/s

To find:-

Initial velocity(u)

Solution:-

By,v²-u²=2as we get-------

(18)²-u²=2×2×10

324-u² = 40

-u² = -284

u= 16.8m/s
