A slice of bread develops a green colored substance on its surface, if its kept outside
for few days. What it is and how it appeared on the bread’s surface?

These are the fuzz like structure called mold. When the bread is in contact with air and kept outside, the atmospheric molds spores settle on the bread and starts to multiply. Molds on the bread are common things because breads provides desired nutrients to molds and the molds grow rapidly on the bread

It is known as bread mould and it is appeared by by the contact of air and moisture
