A Small bar magnet has a magnetic moment 1.2 A-m2. The magnetic field at a distance 0.1 m on its
axial lines will be
_x 10-47. (Ho = 4 11X10-7 H/m)

For a bar magnet, magnetic field = B = (μ0 / 4π) × (2M / d3)

Here M = 1.2 Am2

d = 0.1 m

∴ B = [(4π × 10–7) / 4π] × [(2 × 1.2) / (0.1)3]

= 2.4 × 10–7 × 103

= 2.4 × 10–4 T.
