Given:

A herbarium which is cuboidal in shape whose dimensions are :-

  • Length = 30 cm

• breadth = 25 cm

• height = 25 cm

Solution:

(i) Total surface area (TSA) of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

=> 2×(30×25 + 25×25 + 25×30)

=> 2×(750 + 625 + 750)

=> 2 × 2125

=> 4250 cm^2

(ii) 4l + 4b + 4h [Calculate sum of all edges, the 12 edges consist 4 lengths, 4 breadths & 4 heights]

=> 4×30 + 4×25 + 4×25

=> 4 × (30 + 25 + 25)

=> 4 × 80

=> 320 cm

Hence, we get the required ans

Hope this helped you dear...

given:

length = 30cm = l

width = 25cm = w

hieght = 25cm = h

Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lw + wh + lh)

=>2(30 ×25 + 25×25 + 30×25)

=>2(750 + 625 + 750)

=> 4250 cm²

the length of tape = 4(l +w +h)

=>4(30+ 25 +25)

=> 4 (80)

=> 320 cm²

length of the tape = 320 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

hope it helps
