Toy rocket will hit the ground after 3 Secs if height  H= -3t²+3t+18

Step-by-step explanation:

How long will it take the rocket to hit the ground

H = 0  for hitting ground

=> 3t² + 3t  + 18 =  0

=> t² + t + 6 = 0

=> t  =  (- 1  ± √1 -24)/2  ( no real Values)

Hence rocket will not hot ground

T H

0 18

1 24

2 36

3 54

Rocket will not hot ground

Correct Question Should be

H= -3t²+3t+18

=> -3t²+3t+18 = 0

=> t² - t  - 6 = 0

=> t² - 3t  + 2t - 6 =0

=>t(t - 3) + 2(t - 3) = 0

=> (t +2)(t - 3) = 0

t = 3

after 3 Secs Toy rocket will hit the ground

T H

0 18

1 18

2 12

3 0

Toy rocket will hit the ground after 3 Secs
