Total Population:- 5000
Liters Of Water req. bye 1 person:- 75L
Water can be stored in a tank:- 40*25*15=15000
Water used by whole village per day = 75*5000= 375000

No.of Days= Water used by whole village per day/ Water can be stored in a tank
No.of Days= 375000/15000
                    = 25 Days

Thank You!

Tank's dimensions = 40m * 25m * 15m
Volume = 40 * 25 * 15
=15000 m^3
Water required per head per day=75 litres
Water required for 5000 people = 5000 * 75
=375000 litres
Now,
1 m^3 = 1000 litres
So,
375000 litres = 375 m^3

No. of days water will last = Capacity of tank / Total water required per day
=15000 / 375
=40 days
