a snail will climb a 20 metres long wall. He climbs 3 metres in 1 hour and back down 2 metres in remaining 2 hours. When he can reach to the top of the wall???

Your answer is 35 hours because snail climbs 3 meters in 1 hours and he back down 2 meters in next hour it means he climbs 1 metre in two hours.

Then he climb 17 meters in 34 hours
Then he climb 3 meters in next hour and never back down because he reached top of the wall

It means 34+1 = 35 he climb on the wall in 35 hours
