Answer:

Let x be the amount paid by A,

=> Amount paid by B = x + 20x/100 = 120x/100

=> Amount paid by C

= 120x/100 + (10/100×120x/100)

= 120x/100 + 12x/1000

= 1200x +12x/1000

= 1212x/1000

A. T. Q,

1212x/1000=2640

=2640=>x = 2640×1000/1212 = 2178.

Answer:

A = ₹2376, B = ₹1900.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given clue:

C = ₹2640 (which is also selling price)

Profit% = 10%(B), 20%(A)

..................................................................................................

Cost price = selling price - profit

B = ₹2640 - profit

B = 2640 - (2640*10/100)

B = 2640 - 264

B = ₹2376

Cost price = selling price - profit

A = ₹2376 - profit

A = 2376 - (2376*20/100)

A = 2376 - 475.2

A = ₹1900.8
