Answer:

Magnetic field due to solenoid

B = uNi

Given B = 8.0 × 10^-4

N = 2.0 × 10^3 , u = 2pi × 10 ^-7

By applying them in the formula

8.0 × 10 ^-4 = 2 ×3.14 × 10 ^-7 × 2.0 × 10 ^3 × i

i = 8.0 × 10^-4 / 12.56 × 10 ^-4

i = 8 / 12.56

i = 0.64 amperes
