A solid body of constant density is obtained by revolving the cardiod r = a(1 + cos theta ) about the initial line. Find its m.I. About a straight line through the pole and perpendicular to the initial line.

So to now find the points at which it is parallel to the initial line, I assumed that the square root of y2y2 should be taken before it is differentiated and equated to 00.

the cardiod r = a(1 + cos theta )
