a solid cone of lead having radius 8cm and height 15 cm is melted to form solid spherical marble. how many marbles can be made if each marble is 4 cm in diameter.​

Answer:

No. of marbles = Volume of cone / Volume of sphere (or marbles)

Height of the cone = 15 cm

Radius of the cone = 8 cm

Radius of the sphere = 2 cm

No. of marbles = 1 / 3 π r^2 h / 4 / 3 π  r^3

                        = r^2 h / 4 r^3

                        = 8 * 8 * 15 / 4 * 2 * 2 * 2

                        = 15 * 2

No. of marbles = 30
