43. a) State universal law of Gravitation force. Derive it mathematically.
b) State the importance of the gravitational law.
c) A ball is thrown vertically upwards with a velocity of 49m/s.
Calculate the i) maximum height it rises ii) the total time taken to return to the
surface of the earth.​

a) . universal law of gravitation force states that the force is directly proportional to the gravitational force and products of masses of of the objects and inversely proportional to the distance between them .

MATHEMATICALLY DERIVATION

F M m /R^2

F = G M m / r^2

b). it helps in walking .

it helps in rotation of the earth around the sun .

it helps in rotation of the moon around the earth .

c). (i) v^2 - u^2 =2gh

o^2 - 49 ^2 = 2 * -10 * h

- 2401 = -20h

h = 120 . 05 m

(ii) t = v - u / g

= 0 - 49 / 10

= 4 . 9 seconds
