A solid copper sphere of 15 cm diameter, initially at a uniform temperature Ti = 250 oC, is suddenly immersed in a well-stirred fluid which is maintained at a uniform temperature Ts = 50 oC. The heat transfer coefficient between the sphere and the fluid is h = 300 W/m2 K. Calculate the temperature of the copper sphere at t = 5 min after the immersion. Assume data:- 8954 kg/m3 , cp = 383 J/kg K, and k = 386 W/mK.
