From (1)
462 = 2πrh + 2πr²
462 = 154 + 2πr²

πr² = 154
r² = (154 × 7)/22
r² = 49
r = 7 cm

h = 3.5 cm
Volume of solid cylinder = πr²h
= π(7)²(3.5)
= 22(7)(3.5)
