Total surface area of solid cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

462 = 2πr(r+h) ......(1)

TSA = 3CSA
462 = 3( 2πrh )
2πrh = 154 .....(2)

From (1)
462 = 2πrh + 2πr²
462 = 154 + 2πr²
2πr² = 308
πr² = 154
r² = (154 × 7)/22
r² = 49
r = 7 cm

2π(7)(7+h) = 462
44( 7+h ) = 462
(7+h) = 10.5
h = 3.5 cm

Volume of solid cylinder = πr²h
= π(7)²(3.5)
= 22(7)(3.5)
= 154 cm³
