a solid cylinder of uni for density a radius 2 cm has mass 50 get if it's length 12 cm calculate it's moment of inertia about an axis passing through its centre parpendicular it's lenght

m = 50 gm, L= 12 cm, R= 2 cm

I= (ml² /12 + mR²/4)

=> m( l²/12 + R²/4)

I = 50( 12×12/12 + 4/4)

= 50 ×13

I = 650 dyne-cm²
