\bf{\underline\green{Given:-}}

  • Total height of solid = 19 cm
  • Diameter of the cylindrical and hemispherical part = 7cm

\bf{\underline\green{Find:-}}

Find total surface area of the solid.

\large\underline\bold\blue{SoluTion}

  • Height of cylinder = 5cm
  • Height of hemisphere = 7cm
  • Radius of hemisphere = 7cm

TSA of solid = CSA of cylinder + CSA of sphere

= 2πrh + 2πr^2

= 2π ( rh + r^2 )

=2 ×  \frac{22}{7} ( 7 × 5 + 49 )

=  \frac{44}{7}( 35 + 49 )

=  \frac{44}{7} × 84

=  44 × 12

=  528 \:sq \:cm.
