A solid metallic cube with edgw 44 cm is melted and recast to produce small spherical balls of radius 2 cm. Then ----- balls are produced.

volume of the cube =44*44*44cm^3

= 85184 cm^3

volume of one ball = 4/3 * pi * r ^3

= 4/3 * 22/7 *( 2*2*2)

= 33.52 cm^3

number of produced balls =

=vollume of cube ÷ volume of sphere

= 85184 /33.52

=2541.2

= 2541

ans is,

2541
