A cone has a radius of 3 cm and height of 5 cm, what is the volume of the cone?

Answer

V≈47.124 cubic cm

The following formula is used for calculating the volume (V) of a cone.

where r is the radius and h, the height.

Substitute r = 3 and h = 5 into the formula.

volume of cylinder =πr×r×h

=22/7×6×6×15

= 1697.14

volume of cone =1/3×π×r×r×h

= 1/3×22/7×3×3×9

=84.85

number of toys = volume of cylinder/volume of cone

=1697.14/84.85

= 20
