Hence, the formula for pressure becomes :

$P = \frac{Force}{Area}$

Here, Weight is the force applied by the object downwards.

Answer :

$50 = \frac{525}{Area} \\ \\ = >Area = \frac{525}{50} \\ \\ = > Area = 10.5$

Therefore area of contact between plank and object = 10.5 m^2
