A solid right circular cone is cut into two parts in the middle of its height by a plane parallel to its base. Find the ratio of the volume of the smaller cone to the whole cone.

Ravenclaw1: but radius of both the cones would be different. what about that

sanjana72: I guess it would be 1/3 or 1/2
Ravenclaw1: if it is so then i think its 1/2
Ravenclaw1: as in the option 1/3 is not an option
Ravenclaw1: still i hv doubt in it
