u = initial velocity

v = final velocity = 0

h = initial height

d = final height

m = mass

g = 10m/s2

21mu2+mgh=21mv2+mgd

dividing by m on both sides and substituting values,

21×102+10×0=21×02+10d

10d=2100=50

d=1050=5meters
