A solution contain 30g of common salt in 330 g of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution.

Mass of solute=30g
Mass of solvent=330g
Mass of solution=330+30=360g
percentage of mass/mass=mass of solute/mass of solvent×100
=30/360×100
=100/12
=8.33%
