Mass (solute) = 50 gram
Mass (solvent) = 400 gram
Mass (solution) = Mass (solute) + Mass (solvent)
= 50 gram + 400 gram
= 450 gram
Mass % (solution) = [ Mass (solute)/Mass (solvent)] × 100
= [50/450] × 100
= 11.1 %
