We know that concentration of solution= Mass of Solute/Massof solution x 100

Here, Mass of solute (sugar) = 30 g and ,

Mass of Solvent (water) = 370 g So,

Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent = 30 + 370 = 400g Now,

putting the values of ‘mass of solute’ and ‘mass of solution’

in the above formula,

we get: Concentration of solution =30/400 x 100=30/4=7.5 percent (or 75%)
