Concentration = Weight of solute/ Volume of solvent x 100. So concentration here = 40/200 x 100= 20%

Answer: Mass of sugar (Solute) = 40gm
Mass of water (solvent) = 200 gm
Mass of solution = 40+200 = 240gm
Concentration = (Mass of Solute / Mass of Solution) * 100
Concentration = (40/240)*100 = 16.66%
Concentration of solution is 16.66%.
Hope it helps you buddy...
