The amount of water in the solution 9 kg.

The amount of salt in the solution 1.2 kg.

The amount of sugar in the solution 1.8 kg.

Given data :

• Percentage of water in the solution is 75%

• Percentage of the salt in the solution 10%

• Total weight of the solution is 12 kg

- At first we have to calculate the amount of sugar percentage in the solution

= {Total percentage - ( salt percentage + sugar percentage)}

= (100%-(75%+10%)}

= (100%-85%)

= 15%

So, the sugar percentage is 15%

• Amount of water in the total solution

= (12×75/100) kg

= 9 kg (answer)

• Amount of salt in the total solution

= (12×10/100) kg

= 1.2 kg (answer)

• Amount of sugar in the total solution

= (12×15/100) kg

= 1.8 kg (answer)
