A solution has 15% of suger. Another solution has 5%of suger. Hiw many liters of the 2nd solution must be added to 20 ltr. Of the 1st solution to make a solution of 13% suger?

Let x liters of second solution is required to be added

According to the question,

 \frac{15}{100}  \times 20 +  \frac{1}{20}  \times x = (x + 20)  \frac{1}{10}

Solving we get ,

x = 20l
