Depends on the ratio of reactants. If mixed in an equimolar ratio Silver oxide is precipitated.2AgNO3 + 2NH4OH --> Ag2O + 2NH4NO3 + H2Othe silver oxide dissolves in excess ammonia due to complex io formation.Ag2O + 4NH3 + H2O --> 2(Ag(NH3)2)+ + 2OH-
