Answer

Given = solution of concentration cuso4

time = 965sec

current = 20A

effeciency = 50%

to find =  amount of cu deposited at cathode

solution =

charge = current x time

charge = 20 x 965

            =  19300C

effeciency is 50%

therefore  = 19300 x 50 /100 = 9650 c

so, 2x 96500C required for 63.54g

1C = 63.546/ 2x 96500

9650C = 63.546 /2x 9650

3.177g

the amount deposited at cathode will be 3.177g
