a solution of copper sulphate was kept in an iron vessel.after few days holes were seen in an iron vessel. why give reason

this is because,iron being more reactive displaces copper from its solution of copper sulphate and forms ferrous sulphate.

Here's is ur answer ^___^.

✔this is becoz iron is more reactive than copper . It displaces copper from copper sulphate to form iron sulphate . Since iron is being consumed , holes apper in the pot.
