10% by weight means 10g of glucose in 100 g of solution.
Molality = Moles of solute/ Mass of solvent in kg.

Moles of glucose= given mass/molar mass = 10g/180g = 0.05 moles.
Mass of solvent = Mass of solution - mass of solute = 100g - 10g = 90g.
In kg, 90g = 90/1000kg.

Molality = 0.05/(90/1000) = 0.55 molal.
