Given:-

  • The Solution if sugar in water has 51% Concentration.

  • Mass of Solution = 250g

To Find:-

  • Mass of Sugar

Formulae used:-

  • Mass by Mass % = \sf{\dfrac{Mass\:of\:solute\times{100}}{Mass\:of\: Solution}}

Now,

Let the Mass of sugar be "x"

→ Mass by Mass Percentage = \sf{\dfrac{Mass\:of\:solute\times{100}}{Mass\:of\: Solution}}

→ 51 = \sf{\dfrac{x\times{100}}{250}}

→ 51 = \sf{\dfrac{100x}{250}}

→ 51 × 250 = 100x

→ 12750 = 100x

→ x = 12750/100

→ x = 127.5g

Hence, The mass of sugar is 127.5g.
