Solution X has pH value around 4 and acidic in nature.

Solution Y has pH value around 10 and basic in nature.

Explanation:

According to the pH colour chart, orange colour corresponds to the the pH value 4 and bluish colour represents pH value 10. Also, compounds having pH value less than 7 are acidic in nature and greater than 7 are basic.

When it comes to solution X, it is acidic.

On the other hand, the solution Y is basic.

The pH value of solution X is 4.

The solution Y has the pH value of roughly about 10.

We can get the pH values from the pH colour chart.

The orange colour solution actually corresponds to pH value 4 and the bluish colour actually represents the value of 10.
