a solution Y when treated with blue litmus paper does not show any change but when phenolphthalein is added to it The color changes to pink .what could be the nature of the solution?give reasons​

It is because blue litmus paper doesn't change its colour when base is added to it, and also, when phenolphthalein is added to a base then its turns then phenolphthalein turns pink.
