The poet says that world is going to end one day. and unfortunately we can't do anything about it,, the fact that life exists only on earth is that circumstances and temperature to make about it possible, there are two ways that how the world will end..

1st If the world gets soo hot then there will be fire everywhere,, which lead to rapid destruction,,, in other way,, if the world gets colder and colder then there will be ice everywhere, and life would not be able to sustain at such low temperature...

However,, fire means jealous,, rigid, and being selfish whereas ice means hatred, indifference, being cold ...
