One day, the king’s enemy attacks the palace suddenly. The woman fears for the prince’s safety. She immediately dresses her own son in the prince’s clothes and the prince with her son’s clothes. Then, she goes into hiding with the prince.

When the enemies enter the prince’s room, they see the woman’s baby sleeping in the prince’s clothes. Mistaking him to be the prince, they kill him and leave the place happy at the thought of having killed the king’s successor. The king wins against his enemies and the nurse comes back with the prince. When he realizes what the nurse did, the king is full of gratitude and offers a big reward. However, she declines it saying that she is not worthy of the reward because no mother had the right to kill her son. Saying this, she commits suicide. The heartbroken king gets a memorial constructed in the palace garden to honor her.
