V = vλ,1000×(34100 )= 340m/s

λ = 34100m

∴ t= dv = 1000340

=2.94

=3 s approx

Solution:-

Frequency of the sound wave = 1000Hz

Wavelength of the sound wave = 34cm = 0.34

Distance that sound wave should travel = 1 km = 1000m

Wave Velocity = Frequency × Wavelength

=> 1000 × 0.34= 340 m/s

Since,

Distance = Velocity × Time

1000m = 340m/s × Time

Time(T) = 1000/340

T = 2.94s
