A sound wave has a frequency of 500 hz and wavelength 80cm. How long time will it take to travel 1km

frequency=500hz

time period=1/frequency=1/500=0.002

wave length=80cm

no of wavelengths in 1 km=1000m=1000×100cm

is 100000/80=1,250

for one wavelength 0.002 sec

then for 1,250

1,250×0.002=sec=2.5 sec
