A sound wave has frequency of 4 KHz and wavelength of 50 cm. It takes 5s to travel.
Calculate the distance it travels.

velocity = frequency x wavelegnth
frequency = 4000 hz
Wave legnth = 0.5 m
Velocity = 4000 x 0.5
v = 2000 m/s
distance = v x t
s = 2000 x 5
s = 10^4 m

Speed of sound(v) = frequency x wavelength

frequency = 4000 Hz

Wave length = 0.5 m

v = 4000 x 0.5
= 2000 m/s

Distance = s

Speed = distance/ time

Time = t = 5 sec

distance = speed x time
= 2000 x 5
= 10000 m
