A sound wave has wavelength 0.86m and speed 344m/s in air. If it's wavelength in a gas is 0.8m,find the speed of sound in gas.

v =344m/s (given)
wavelength =0.86m
therefore
frequency= v/wavelength =
=344/0.86
=400 hertz
Since the frequency remains same so,
velocity = frequency × wavelength
= 400 × 0.8
= 500 m/ s
