time=distance /velocity=2×240=450m
wavelength =distance /no. of vibration =450/320=1.40625m

Given That:-

A source of longitudinal wave vibrates 320 times in 2 seconds if the velocity of this wave in air is 240 metre per second find the wavelength of the wave.

Solution:-

Velocity of wave,v = 240m/s

Frequency of the wave ,(n)= 320/2

= 160Hz

Wavelength, = v/n = 240/160

= 1.5 m
