India is the country with world's second largest population, and for the smooth running of the country, economy plays a vital role. National Income is directly related to the economy and development in the country, it is important for every individual to earn sufficient amount of money in order to fulfill daily needs of his/her family. First of all, we must focus on the fact that why do we need to contribute to national income.

A country's development is not merely it's overall economic turnover, but also that how are the people of that country are leading their life. A country is said to be developed only and only if the people of that country are leading a life with all the basic necessities fulfilled. For fulfilling those necessities, one must have a nice income in whatever work he/she is doing. Moreover, a fairly high national income increases the economical value of country, and it is essential for the development of the country at a higher pace.

When a high national income is so important for the individuals, then it is essential for each of the individual to contribute to it. Everyone can contribute to national income at their own level. More and more companies should be opened to fulfill the needs of the people, and hence increasing the employment in the country. Government must increase the average national income given to the government job employees, irrespective of which field they are. Education should be simple to avail and the fees must be low, so that more and more people can get benifit from it, and they can earn well in the future.

Brain drain, i.e. the migrating of brilliant minds to other countries for a higher salary should be avoided, instead of that, they should work for their own country. As student, we can contribute to the improvement of national income by some effective ways. Firstly, we should study with full zeal, and work for different companies with a good income, that can be achieved by hard work and determination. If more and more people get brilliant at studies, companies will eventually have to pay everyone equally high, which will improve national income. Whenever we open a business in future, we must pay all the required taxes to the government, which is then used for our own benifit. We should always buy goods on bill only, this increases the overall economic turnover of the country and hence increasing it's economical condition and average national income.

If we implement all these ways, our national income can be increased to a high extent.
