Good morning respected Principal sir, Worthy teachers and all my dear friends..Today I'm here to speak some words from the core of my heart on this auspicious day. Before i start I'd like to sing something..

Jingle bells, jingle bells!!
jingle all the way,
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh :D

I believe we all are familiar to these lyrics, isn't it? or i can also say, these lyrics represent Falling snow, Chilled nights, Ringing bells , Dancing stars..these are what remind us of Christmas.

So, What's Christmas?
'Christmas' or the 'big day' is the famous festival of Christians. It is celebrated every year on 25th December in the whole world. The Christmas festival is celebrated as the birthday of Jesus Christ. This is the biggest and happiest festival of Christians.

The preparations for the Christmas festival will start before the eve.  On Christmas day homes are cleaned and residents decorate their homes well with lights, bells etc. They prefer new clothes on this auspicious day as others do on their religious festival. Christians make different types of dishes on Christmas Day. Homes and markets get lighted up with colorful lights.

On this auspicious occasion, there will be special prayers in the churches and place-marks will be presented in the name of Lord Christ. On this day Christmas tree is planted in the courtyard of each and every house. And the most delicious and special thing about Christmas is a Cake, which has special significance in the Christmas festival. On this day people congratulate the festival by distributing cakes, sweets and gifts among each other. By making the form of Santa Claus, the person divides candy gifts to children.

Jesus Christ is believed as the god who came in a form of human being to this wonderful creation to safe guard his children.

But just to celebrate it by spending money on that day, comparing yourselves isn't what is called real Christmas. Although diversity exists in this wonderful creation of god, people must learn to live in harmony and serve humanity. This is what Lord Jesus wanted to convey to every human being. To follow the path shown by our god is what real Christmas's meaning is. To keep ourselves holy is to follow the path shown by our lord.

According to Lord Jesus we all are god's children and equal before him. We all know the pain and hardships Jesus Christ has to go through in his life. Devotion towards god is what meant by serving humanity is. So why just to pray only on Christmas, only once a year? The same resolution should be carried out by us throughout our whole life.

Christmas is the festival of lights and joy. People sing Christmas carols and decorate their Christmas trees. They have dinner and enjoy the day among themselves. But is this real Christmas?

i guess many of you mustn't have imagined what a real Christmas is?! Let me tell you. When we'll be cutting cakes sitting in our cozy houses, there will be people starving in winters. But as its Lord Jesus birthday, who took birth in earth to remove sins from our hearts but we started criticizing and categorizing ourselves.

Although diversity exists in this wonderful creation, we must live in harmony. here's what we can do for them at least - We can gift them blankets and clothes. We can gift them bars of cake and short bread. We can spend some time with them to make them realise that they are not alone. Our hugs and blessing will make them feel better. this isnt only what is called humanity but it's just another way to serve ourselves to god. We ought to perform humanity to call ourselves humans.

To make this Christmas more beautiful, lets join our hands together and go ahead spreading happiness among ourselves. we also need to spend time with our relatives, family members, friends etc this day. This can be a good reunion day for people who live far away from their loved ones.

Let's celebrate this Christmas in a better way reducing wastage but with the same happiness, excitement and enthusiasm. As i had told before, a Christmas tree creates an important part of the Christmas eve and just a bare pine tree in the middle of the celebration won't look attractive.

We waste paper and increase garbage in decorating it while in the other side we paste posters saying "do not litter!" So, here are some ways in which you can save something at least and gain many smiles which worth a lot indeed. We can put candy canes under the tree, make paper balls in your home with waste paper rather than buying them. Lit candles all around the tree to make it look exotic. Even snowflakes can also be made.

And even we all must be knowing Santa Claus right? And his "Ho-ho-ho" will always be there with us ^^ So this Christmas, let's capture those smiles, let's create memories, let's continue humanity, let's spread happiness reducing wastage, keeping all those resolutions in mind i wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS from the core of my heart :D
