yes the surface of the sphere equal to

the curved surface area of the cylinder.

surface area of cylinder = 2pi × r^2 × h

# h = diameter of cylinder / sphere = 2r

therefore surface area of cylinder = 2 × pi×r^2×2r = 4 × pi×r^3

which is equal to the surface area of

sphere that is 4 × pi ×r^3
