As we know that sphere of Radius 3 cm is dropped in a right CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL VESSEL partly filled with water.

→ 4/3πr³ = 4/3π3³

→ 4/3π × 27 = 36π

Now, The Sphere is completely submerged in CYLINDRICAL VESSEL water that means VOLUME OF WATER is equal to the VOLUME OF SPHERE.

Again, It's time to find the volume of CYLINDRICAL VESSEL.

Let the Height of the raised water be h.

  • → πr²h = π6²h = 36πh

Finally, We can find Height of water in CYLINDRICAL VESSEL.

  • → 36π = 36πh → H = 1CM
