A sphere of mass 1 kg is tied to a string of
lengths 10 metre. The sphere is rotated in
vertical circle with one end of the string as its
centre. At the lowest position the velocity of
sphere is 80 m/s. What is the tensions in the
string at the lowest point ?

Answer:

i think  tension should be equal to centripetal force mv²/r

t = 1*80²/ 10

  t  = 160N

as radius = 10 m

and speed = 80 m/s
