hey buddy !! here's your answer...
_______________________________

since the spider is stationary and hanging on a string ,

hence we get the equation

➡️T = mg
where,
T = tension
m= mass of spider
g = acceleration due to gravity

( 50 g = 0.05 kg )

T = 0.05 X 10.

✔️✔️T = 0.5 N

hope it helps !! ✌️❤️

Mgram1976: thanks...
Mgram1976: but in my book the answer was given o.49
Mgram1976: T=0.49 is the answer given in my book
Mgram1976: how..?
Anonymous: because g is taken 9.8 there... I've taken 10
Mgram1976: kk the was now correct
Mgram1976: thank u so much my friend
