a sponge can be pressed easily,still is called solid ? Water vapour have more energy than water at same temperature?​

Sponge have minutes holes in it . when pressed air moves out through them but when pressure is not applied then the sponge regain it shape. Therefore it could be called a solid.

Because water vapour absorb more energy in the form of latent heat of vapourisation
