A spoon can sound like a bell. no this isn't a riddle. proov it.

what u need 
metal spoon
30 inches of kite string 
what you do:
tie the handle of the spoon at the midpoint of the string
wrap the ends of  string around ur index finger 
place ur finger  in ur ears 
lean over so that spoon swings freely and swing the spoon so it taps against a door 
hit the door again , this time stronger
and u can hear it as a bell
