tie the handle of this spoon at the midpoint of the spring 
wrap the ends of the spring around the index finger 
place ur finger  in ur ears 
lean over so that spoon hangs freely and swing the spoon so it taps against the door 
hit the door again, this time harder ,u can hear it as bell
